Reporting to the Principal / lead Mechanical Engineer or Project Manager in a project team for execution of projects. Key responsibilities includes: Preparing and reviewing Technical specifications, Mechanical datasheets, Enquiry and Order Requisitions, Technical Bid Analysis and Technical recommendations and review vendor design documents/calculations/drawings for all types of Static Equipment including API storage tanks. Establishing good intra & interdisciplinary and client relationship Resolving technical issues related to the project, within or outside the discipline as long as it adds value   Qualifications   Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 12 years' hands-on experience in handling Basic and Detail Engineering jobs for green and brown field plants in Chemical /Petrochemical /Refinery Industries Excellent knowledge and hands on experience with Codes and Standards applicable to all types of Static Equipment such as Pressure vessel, Heat Exchanger, API storage Tanks etc. Excellent knowledge and hands on experience with Design, Detail Engineering and especially Rehabilitation related activities for API 650 and API 620 Atmospheric and Low Pressure Storage tanks is essential. Excellent knowledge and hands on experience with international Codes & Standards like ASME, TEMA, API, BS4994, ASCE, UBC, IS1893, IS 875, IS 6533, WRC 107 and 297 etc. Hands on experience with API Storage tank revamp/retrofit works, preparing Floating roof buoyancy calculation, Buckling calculation, Tank jacking calculation etc. Familiar with the guidelines/Standards of major petrochemical/refinery companies will be essential Experience with large petrochemical / refinery guidelines and Site support activities will be an added advantage Good in communication, Proactive interaction and result oriented Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage  Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
